About Us

ACT-1 is a division of In Touch with Communities Around the World, Inc. (ITWC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We provide the following: (a) progressive arts education experiences and training, (b) professional theatrical productions and career development workshops, and (c) cultivation of youths talents and gifts in an effort to develop their learning abilities and life skills to meet and overcome present and future challenges.

Arts Conservatory for Teens in Midtown, St. Petersburg, FL (A.C.T. 1) provides students in the underserved communities of St. Petersburg a professional learning experience in an effort to enrich their lives and prepare student participants for careers. Professional instructors, producers, directors, and coaches provide informative and intense workshops and seminars weekly to enhance student participants’ skills as well as offer motivation and confidence to each participant’s self-esteem.
